DEE-Ltd Offers Adapted Transmissions Through RWD Motorsport

3rd December 2014

DEE-Ltd (Development Engineering and Enterprise) has agreed to offer their adapted transmissions through transmission specialists RWD Motorsport. Working with RWD, DEE-Ltd has already developed longitudinal powertrain packages with the D-W56 for their D-1KR-FE I3 1.0L engine, and D-3ZR-FE 2.0L, I4. RWD has also been hard at work and has already supplemented this with an arrangement for the Ford Duratec. This is excellent news for those looking for a brand new longitudinal transmission in place of the reconditioned offerings currently available in the marketplace.

The D-W56 mated to the D-1KR-FE has recently won praise in the Kit Car press when it was evaluated in a Lotus 7 – style kit car chassis.

TKC Mag “I commend them on the quality of their gear change, no notchiness or recalcitrant changes just clean, reassuring changes.”

DEE-Ltd Managing Director, Neil McAdam says, ”We are delighted to be working with RWD. We have a common mind set; customer focussed and quality driven. We have no doubt that this relationship will yield more product developments that we can bring to the niche build market. Watch this space.”
